Once there I was brought right back to take some x-rays. The x-rays showed that the tooth was abscessed. The dentist recommended that I immediately get the tooth a root canal and a possible crown. I began inquiring about costs and the dentist assured me that my insurance would cover the bulk of the cost and that it really needed done or I would risk infection to the gum.
I decided to have the work done right then, but I was surprised and upset that it took nearly two hours. The procedure was pain free, but my mouth hurt very bad from being jacked open for so long.
